A graceful antique French porcelain platter with just the right amount of charm.
This beautiful serving platter was made in France by Charles Field Haviland / GDA Limoges and features a delicate green garland border, tiny pink roses, a gilt rim, and sculptural gold handles. It is refined, feminine, and quietly special, the kind of piece that makes even a simple plate of pastries look like someone planned ahead.
Measuring 17 1/2" long x 11" wide, this platter is a wonderful size for serving fruit, tea sandwiches, cookies, cakes, pastries, holiday desserts, or breakfast breads. It would also be beautiful styled on a sideboard, open shelf, or coffee table.
The underside is marked CH Field Haviland Limoges, Made in France, with a retailer mark for Toronto / Winnipeg.
A lovely piece for collectors of Limoges, French porcelain, antique tableware, or anyone who believes the serving piece matters just as much as what is being served.
