Vintage Johnson Brothers Castle on the Lake Red Transferware Platter

Made in England, the platter features the discontinued Castle on the Lake pattern in a soft cranberry-red transfer against creamy white ironstone. The scenic decoration is arranged around the sides of the platter, leaving an open center that beautifully frames whatever you are serving.

The gently raised, rope-style rim adds just enough texture without competing with the intricate pastoral design.
